You will start from Bike the Bridge Bike Rentals located in the beautiful Marina District, only 20 minutes & up away from the Golden Gate Bridge. You will bike along the bike path near Crissy Field into the Presidio Park, and up to the Golden Gate Bridge and enjoy breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay. You can simply bike the bridge and return to our bike rental shop, or continue down to Sausalito for lunch and shopping. Hop-on a ferry in Sausalito with your bike and get back to San Francisco with scenic bay views! (Ferry tickets sold separately at Sausalito ferry terminal)

How long does it take to bike the bridge and return by ferry?
About 3-4 hours round-trip. It will take about 20-30 minutes ride to the beginning of the Golden Gate Bridge from Bike the Bridge Bike Rental. It will take another 10-20 minutes to bike cross the Golden Gate Bridge (1.8 miles). Then, it is about 15-20 minutes (2 miles) mostly downhill to Sausalito after the bridge. Ferry ride takes 30 minutes to Fisherman's Wharf, and 20 minutes ride back to our bike rental shop.
Do you have the ferry schedule?
The ferry is a public transportation and you can visit the ferry companies' websites here: For ferry goes to Fisherman's Wharf (closer to bike return) - Blue & Gold Fleet; For ferry goes to Ferry Building - Golden Gate Ferry (40 minutes back to bike rental shop)
Can I bike across the bridge and bike back?
Yes! You can turn around and return by bike.
